Using over 10 years of study and experience to bridge the gap between western mental health practices and traditional healing modalities.

I founded Feeling for Healing in 2022 following ten years of study in psychology, rehabilitation, mental health, and wellbeing. ​​I hold a Master of Arts in Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation, He Papa Tikanga- National Certificate in Tikanga Māori, and am currently studying  a Postgraduate Certificate in Addictions and Co-existing conditions.

I also draw on an additional 140+ hours of continuing education training in pain management, ADHD interventions, Sleep Science, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotionally Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and both ancient and modern breathwork techniques.

​​I encourage clients to take an active role in their sessions building our techniques into their life in a way that is sustainable and practical. As we move through you will have the opportunity to switch between explorative and experiential work and science-backed techniques.

 

I strongly believe in reciprocal knowledge sharing, your role is to share your experience of world in which you are expert. My role is to help you find new understanding by applying and sharing my knowledge with you. You can get a taste of my style and philosophies in our blog.

I work primarily with clients looking for a mix of practical behavioural strategies and deeper emotional work. This often includes people looking for support to manage low mood, anxiety, stress, emotional dysregulation, and ADHD challenges. I have worked with a variety of ages but specialise in youth and youger adults (aged 12-40), and women experiencing perimenopause.

 

Overall, my aim is to help my clients achieve their well-being goals using scientifically proven interventions that naturally allow for greater recovery and balance so you can live your best life.
